Closets by Design Franchising has an immediate opportunity for an Event Marketing & Communications Coordinator.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Plan, organize and facilitate a wide range of events, including annual franchise conference, sales training seminars, and other events as needed.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and venues to secure necessary resources for events.
Manage all event registration and attendee communication.
Develop timelines with deliverables for each event.
Oversee onsite execution of all event details and provide support to ensure a successful event.
Create and maintain a budget and financial reporting for each event.
Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate all necessary content and participation for each event.
Conduct post-event surveys to gather feedback from attendees to identify areas for improvement.
Create and deploy content through our communication channels to franchise system including but not limited to; monthly newsletters and Intranet.
Work with our PR firm to develop compelling content for our website, blogs and social media pages Adding or editing content on the website as needed Creating appropriate external communication to our audience through social media.
Managing communications with franchise system including emails and phone calls.
Qualifications:
1 - 2 years event management experience.
Communications experience, or degree a plus.
Excellent verbal & writing communication skills with an ability to write and proof materials.
Self-starter with high level of attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
Excellent organization skills and able to multi-task and keep track of several projects at one time.
Open to other duties as assigned.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
Proficient in Social Media channels, primarily Facebook and Instagram.
College degree preferred.
Familiarity working with a PR agency a plus Position may require infrequent travel.
